Running Medals for Races & Fun Runs
A finisher's medal is often the thing a runner keeps long after the race. Whether you are organising a 5K, a school fun run, a charity event or a trail race, running medals need to be ordered in the right quantity, on the right ribbon, and in time for race day.
You can choose from stock medals on the site, from £1.25 each, or ask about bespoke medals with your event logo. Running events are one of the bulk orders we regularly help with, and the bigger your order, the bigger your discount. Send us your entry numbers on WhatsApp for a free quote.

Running Medals: popular designs
Stock medals or a custom race medal?
Stock medals are the quickest and most affordable route. A general sports or running-themed medal on a coloured ribbon works well for fun runs, school events and first-year races where budgets are tight.
A custom medal with your event name, logo or year makes a stronger keepsake and suits established races where runners collect a medal each year. Bespoke medals are available on request, so send us your logo and expected numbers and we will quote.
How many running medals should you order?
Base your order on confirmed entries plus a margin for late sign-ups. If your race allows entries on the day, order more spares than you think you will need. Running out of medals at the finish line is the one thing runners remember.
- Finisher medals for every runner
- Separate medals or trophies for first, second and third overall
- Age-category or team prizes if your race has them
- A handful of spares for late entries and volunteers
Tip: If your event has a fixed date each year, order early. Larger bulk orders typically take 10 to 14 working days, and custom designs need extra time to agree.

Making your race medal memorable
Runners talk about medals after the event, so a few small choices make a real difference. A heavier, larger medal feels more rewarding at the end of a longer distance, while a bright ribbon in your event colours makes finish-line photos stand out. For a children's fun run, a colourful smaller medal is usually all you need.
Think about engraving or a printed centre too. Adding the event name and year turns a stock medal into a keepsake without the cost of a fully custom design. If you run the same race every year, keeping the ribbon colour consistent while changing the year builds a collection runners want to complete.
