Football Medals for Teams, Tournaments & Grassroots Clubs

When clubs use football medals

Medals work best when you need a lot of awards that all match. Tournament organisers often order gold, silver and bronze for every player on the top three teams, while junior clubs give a medal to every player at the end of the season and save trophies for the special awards.

• Tournament winners and runners-up (a full squad each)
• End of season participation medals for mini-soccer and junior teams
• Cup final and league winners’ medals
• Six-a-side and summer festival events

Choosing a football medal design

Our medals come in a range of diameters, roughly 50mm to 65mm, and finishes including iron and zinc alloy. A larger medal feels more substantial for a cup final; a smaller one is perfectly good for a festival where every child gets one.

You can go for a medal with a football design, or a general sports medal that you can reuse across different events. If you want your club or tournament logo on the medal itself, ask about bespoke medals: custom medals with logos are available on request.

Pricing, ribbons and engraving

We beat catalogue prices, and the bigger your order, the bigger your discount, with breaks at roughly 25+, 50+ and 100+ items. A 16-team tournament with medals for the top four teams can easily pass the 100 mark, so it’s worth asking for a combined quote.

Need them fast? One customer, Kirsty K., told us “We placed a last minute order and it was ready within an hour.” We can’t promise that every time, but local customers can collect from Caernarfon and express options are available for urgent orders, so just ask.

Where a medal has engraving space, a short line such as “Spring Cup 2026 Winners” works well. Check the engraving lines listed on each product, and remember that a ribbon is the finishing touch: tell us your club or event colours when you ask for a quote.

How many football medals to order

For a tournament, count squad sizes rather than teams. Mini-soccer squads are often eight to ten players, while 11-a-side squads can be 16 or more once substitutes are included, so a top-three medal set for a big age group adds up quickly.

• Winners: one gold medal per squad member, plus the manager if you like
• Runners-up: one silver per squad member
• Third place or plate winners: one bronze per squad member
• Spares: a few of each in case squads grow on the day
