What to put on a personalised trophy
Most engraving follows a simple three-line pattern. Keep it short enough to read from across a room and consistent across every trophy in the same order.
- Line 1: the award, such as Player of the Season or Most Improved
- Line 2: the name of the winner
- Line 3: the club, team or event and the year
Tip: Check the characters-per-line figure on the product before writing your wording. Abbreviations like U12 or 2025/26 save space without losing meaning.
Logos, crests and custom touches
Many clubs like their crest on the trophy as well as the wording. Send your logo along with your order and we will advise on the best option for the trophy you have chosen. For medals, bespoke designs with your logo are available on request.

How many words can be engraved on a trophy?
It depends on the trophy. Each product page lists the number of engraving lines and the characters per line. If your wording is too long, we will suggest a shorter version before anything is made.
Can each trophy in an order have a different name?
Yes. Send us a list of names and award titles, one per trophy, and we will engrave each one individually. Keeping the same layout across the order makes the set look consistent.
Can you add our club logo to a trophy?
